Our Hamm Heroes Robotics teams are hard at work, training, and competing with dedication and enthusiasm! Not only are they having fun, but they’re also learning valuable skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking—skills that will benefit them for years to come. A huge thank you to the teachers and parents who volunteer their time to make this possible. Your support means the world! Robotics is a great way for kids to build confidence, boost creativity, and develop a love for STEM. Keep up the amazing work, Hamm Heroes!
We had an amazing time during the holidays at Hamm! From festive dress-up days to our very first Reindeer Games, it was a season full of fun and laughter. The students had a blast, and we made so many wonderful memories together. While it was a busy time on campus, we are incredibly thankful for every moment spent with our Hamm heroes. Here's to a joyful holiday season filled with unforgettable moments!
Today at Sherry and Paul Hamm Elementary, our students wore blue in support of World Kindness Day! Together, we celebrated the importance of kindness and focused on all the ways we can share it with others. From simple acts like sharing a smile to helping a friend in need, we encouraged each other to make kindness a daily habit. Let's keep spreading positivity, compassion, and respect—not just today but every day!
Hamm Heroes recently had their first term Hero Huddle celebration! We had many students recognized for their success throughout the term, but also had some friendly fun competition amongst teachers. Hamm teachers will go above and beyond to ensure a fun Hero Huddle, including wearing blowup costumes and racing around the gym! Congratulations to all our heroes on a successful first term!
5th graders at Hamm Elementary had a special guest (Dr. Stroy - Chief Student Services Officer) join their basketball game today! It was such a joy to have him join in the fun and be apart of our recess!
Our brand new 2024-2025 go to take on their first task as leaders of our campus. Last year's student council was given the TEPSA Student Leadership Award, but this new leadership was finally honored to bring the trophy home and back to Hamm Elementary. We are so proud of our leadership team and volunteers Mrs. Scarborough and Mrs. Summers for helping our students be successful student leaders.
This year's Boosterthon at Hamm Elementary was a resounding success, thanks to Principal Danielle Patterson and Assistant Principal Christie Boyd, who infused the event with fun and spirit. The school community came together in a remarkable display of support, raising funds to benefit our heroes. From creative knight-themed costumes to engaging friendly competitions, the event was filled with excitement and camaraderie. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all Hamm Elementary families for their contributions, making this Boosterthon one for the memory books. Way to go, heroes!
The atmosphere at Hamm Elementary’s library is brimming with enthusiasm as the librarian warmly welcomes students back to their beloved reading haven.
Every Friday, the Hamm Heroes proudly show their support for the Rockwall Yellowjackets by donning the team’s signature orange and black.
