The Texas Rangers' Opening Day was a hit, and here at Hamm, we made sure to swing for the fences! Our Hamm Heroes showed up in full force, rocking their Rangers gear and getting into the spirit of the game. But let’s be real... the real home run came from our amazing kiddos who truly stole the show! 

Whether it was cheering, clapping, or showing off their best Ranger pride, our young ones knocked it out of the park with their enthusiasm and team spirit. We’re so proud of our Hamm family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to the season! 

Here’s to another season of baseball and another season of making memories with our little champions!

Our Hero Dudes program has been an amazing success here at Hamm, and we couldn’t be more grateful!  Huge thanks to the incredible dads who wake up early each morning to greet our students with big smiles and pass out treats. Their dedication brings so much joy and positivity, making every morning brighter.  We’re so lucky to be part of the Rockwall ISD family, where our families are always willing to go above and beyond to make our schools the absolute best.  Together, we’re creating a community that truly cares, and we can’t thank our Hero Dudes and all our families enough for making this such a special place! 

Our first graders wrapped up their unit in the most fun way with a "StarBOOKs" celebration! They cozied up with hot cocoa and got to enjoy book recommendations from their classmates. What a perfect way to celebrate all their hard work and love for reading! We couldn't be prouder of their enthusiasm and joy for books. Here's to many more cozy reading moments! 

Our Hamm Heroes Robotics teams are hard at work, training, and competing with dedication and enthusiasm! Not only are they having fun, but they’re also learning valuable skills like problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking—skills that will benefit them for years to come. A huge thank you to the teachers and parents who volunteer their time to make this possible. Your support means the world! Robotics is a great way for kids to build confidence, boost creativity, and develop a love for STEM. Keep up the amazing work, Hamm Heroes!

We had an amazing time during the holidays at Hamm! From festive dress-up days to our very first Reindeer Games, it was a season full of fun and laughter. The students had a blast, and we made so many wonderful memories together. While it was a busy time on campus, we are incredibly thankful for every moment spent with our Hamm heroes. Here's to a joyful holiday season filled with unforgettable moments!

Today at Sherry and Paul Hamm Elementary, our students wore blue in support of World Kindness Day! Together, we celebrated the importance of kindness and focused on all the ways we can share it with others. From simple acts like sharing a smile to helping a friend in need, we encouraged each other to make kindness a daily habit. Let's keep spreading positivity, compassion, and respect—not just today but every day!

Hamm Heroes recently had their first term Hero Huddle celebration! We had many students recognized for their success throughout the term, but also had some friendly fun competition amongst teachers. Hamm teachers will go above and beyond to ensure a fun Hero Huddle, including wearing blowup costumes and racing around the gym! Congratulations to all our heroes on a successful first term!
