Welcome to Sherry and Paul Hamm Elementary!

We are always excited to welcome new students and their families to our Hamm Heroes family. Here you will find information about enrolling your child in Rockwall ISD schools. If you have additional questions, please contact our office.

Age Requirements

Any child who is five years of age on or before September 1 may enter kindergarten. A child must be six years old on or before September 1 to enter the first grade.

Immunization Requirements
For the protection of children, state law and district policy require parents to provide proof that each student enrolled in school has been immunized for Polio, DPT/DT, Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, and HIB, Hepatitis B and Varicella. Click the links below for more details.

School Attendance Areas
Designated school attendance zones enable the District to make the best use of faculty, staff, and facilities. Students attend their neighborhood elementary school and designated middle school.
